Julie: We retried our luck in the Bay of Prony Sunday, September 12 with Captain Woodin. And we have not been much luckier than last time. We were unable to observe humpback whales, but a few minutes before it plunges. We have
cons lucky with the weather: still a beautiful sunny day.
Here is your opportunity to talk about the village of Prony. Didier (the owner of the vessel Captain Woodin) owns a house. The village currently has only 2 neighbors Permanent and full of relics from the galleys of Prony. A wall is in ruins elsewhere in the garden of Didier!
"Originally founded in 1867 to supply wood Noumea, it was turned into prison in 1873. One hundred and fifty convicts were sent there before the exiles of the Commune took over in 1887.
